In just its second year, the College of Charleston’s Georgestock has become a tradition on campus. More than 2,000 students are expected for the event, which will be held just following move in, on Sunday, August 23 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Carolina First Arena.

“Georgestock is an opportunity for new students to meet friends and for returning students to reconnect with campus,” said Susan Payment, director of student life. “We want them to embrace campus life and create lasting memories of their College experience.”

There will be live music, a variety of novelty entertainment experiences, giveaways and food. The event is free to currently enrolled students.

Georgestock is sponsored by the Office of Student Life, Residence Life and Housing, New Student Programs, Cougar Activities Board, Greek Life and Athletics.
