The College of Charleston Athletic Department has revealed a newly designed web site, www.cofcsports.com. The new design hopes to maintain the site’s familiarity, while packaging CofC sports in a more user-friendly format.
The re-launched site, powered by NeuLion, includes expanded video sections, improved live event video streaming, an engaging new web site design that will give fans better access to information. Fans will be able to relive past Cougar events in the site’s multimedia section, which will feature numerous clips. Fans will also see a change with the way the multimedia player and live stats display look and feel.
CofCSports.TV is also upgrading its quality with a larger video window. While the majority of content will be free to all users, a select amount of archived content and all live webcasts will continue to be available on the CofCSports.TV premium package.
Flash-based technology will allow fans to click on buttons in sections traditionally reserved for images. While clicking on the arrow over the image allows instant access to video, clicking the headline, or corresponding text below, transports the reader to the full article.
