The College of Charleston has received the final stamp of approval to offer a full-time MBA program starting this fall.
The S.C. Commission on Higher Education approved the program at its monthly meeting today in Columbia. The program proposal had been submitted to CHE on Feb. 4 and had been voted upon favorably by the Committee on Academic Affairs and Licensing on April 1.
“This MBA is good for the Charleston community, it’s good for the College of Charleston, and most of all, it’s good for students,” said Alan Shao, dean of the School of Business and Economics at CofC.
