The College of Charleston will host the South Atlantic Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers fall meeting on Oct. 22 and 23.

Faculty from universities, K-12 science teachers and students will give poster and plenary presentations and attend workshops. Those events are free and open to the public. The event is presented by the College of Charleston’s department of physics and astronomy.

K-12 science teachers will learn new teaching methods implemented and tested by colleges and universities, said Ana Oprisan, assistant physics professor and organizing committee chair.
