The 2012 edition of the Princeton Review’s “Best 376 Colleges,” recognized the College of Charleston in two categories of “Great Schools for 15 of the Most Popular Undergraduate Majors” – accounting and communication.

“We are honored to be included as a Great School for Communication again this year,” says Bethany Goodier, Chair of the Department of Communication. “Our faculty are dedicated to offering a strong, personalized educational experience for our students and it is great to be recognized for our work.”

“It is such an honor to be recognized for what you love doing. I am so proud of our faculty, our students and our community; all are integral to the success of our program, ” says Roxane M. DeLaurell, Chair of the Department of Accounting and Legal Studies.

In that same issue, the Princeton Review once again named the College of Charleston as one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education. Only about 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges are profiled in the book.

This is the eighth year in a row the College has been honored by Princeton Review.
