State Treasurer To Address Issue of Credit Card Fraud

South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis will be at the College of Charleston on September 18 to speak on the issue of credit card fraud.  The meeting will be held in the Wells Fargo Auditorium beginning at 12:30 p.m.

 Loftis will be joined by industry officials from MasterCard and AARP who will encourage questions from the audience after the presentation on the subject of fraud prevention techniques.

With credit card thieves becoming more creative in targeting consumers, it is important to know how to protect yourself and your personal information.

The event is free and open to the public.
