A celebration of Ted Stern’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013, in the College of Charleston’s Cistern Yard. The family will greet friends at the College’s Stern Center Ballroom, across the street from the Cistern Yard, at the conclusion of the service until 3:00 p.m.

The inclement weather location is the College of Charleston Sottile Theatre.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Ted Stern’s name to The College of Charleston Foundation, 66 George Street, Charleston, SC 29424, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Guests attending the services may park in nearby public parking lots and enter the Cistern Yard through the Porters Lodge gate on George Street. Guests who are disabled or need special assistance may be dropped off at the St. Philip Street entrance to the Cistern Yard.
