A new publication from the Princeton Review has named the College of Charleston “one of the country’s best values for undergraduate education.” bestvaleThe College of Charleston is one of 150 institutions nationwide profiled in the new edition of the Princeton Review’s, The Best Value Colleges: 2013 Edition.

The publication profiles 75 public and 75 private colleges the Princeton Review designates as “Best Values” based on assessments that examined more than 30 data points covering academics, cost, and financial aid. The schools profiled were chosen from 650 colleges and universities at which it conducted institutional and student surveys for this project in 2011-12.

The Princeton Review says the College of Charleston is “a moderately sized school that manages to make itself feel like a small school, a southern secret that is extremely diverse and offers many great fields of study.”

The publication goes on to say that the College offers a “perfect balance of a full liberal arts education with a bustling, charming city.”

This is the tenth year in a row that the College of Charleston has been honored by the Princeton Review publication.
