According to the Princeton Review, College of Charleston “exemplifies progressive traditionalism”and “is all about liberal arts; the education is well-rounded and intriguing.”

The Review also ranks the College of Charleston number 12 on the list of schools in the “College City Gets High Marks” category.  According to the book, “It’s the city of Charleston that defines the student body and joins them together.” Charleston is “one of the most beautiful cities in the South,” and students experience “the perfect blend of social life between the university and the city.”

Only about 15% of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges and only four colleges outside the U.S.A. are profiled in the book which is The Princeton Review’s flagship college guide. It includes detailed profiles of the colleges with rating scores for all schools in eight categories, plus ranking lists of top 20 schools in the book in 62 categories based on The Princeton Review’s surveys of 126,000 students attending the colleges.

This is the tenth year in a row that the College of Charleston has been honored by the Princeton Review.
