Why It Could Pay Well: The evidence seems to show that the demand for computer experts who can protect networks from attack can translate into a healthy paycheck, according to Chris Starr, chairman of the department of computer science at the College of Charleston.
“In my 27 years on the computer science faculty, I have never seen as many jobs or as much remuneration as I have seen in the past year,” Starr says.
