The summer issue of Synergies, an online sustainability magazine, focuses on connecting sustainable initiatives within the Lowcountry. Synergies is published by the Office of Sustainability at the College of Charleston.

“The newest issue of Synergies really represents the role of the Office of Sustainability as a hub for regional and community engagement in a constellation of topics within sustainability,” says Brian Fisher, director of the Office of Sustainability.

College of Charleston junior Olivia Cohen and Emily Li, a freshman from Emory University who interned with the Office of Sustainability, put the issue together. “We hope to use Synergies as a way to spark dialogue among those who are involved in sustainability as well as those who are interested but not directly involved,” notes Cohen.
