The sixth annual BarcampCHS – an “un-conference” for technophiles, digital artists, writers, designers, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and others – returns to the College of Charleston campus on Nov. 8, 2014.

barcamp-chs-2The College’s School of Sciences and Mathematics is one of the event’s sponsors.

BarCamp is an international network of user-generated conferences where content is provided by participants.

Unlike traditional conferences where panels and discussions are pre-arranged, Barcamp attendees determine what topics are presented at sessions throughout the day. Attendees interested in giving a talk make 30-second pitches to the group, and attendees vote on sessions they wish to see. The pitches take place in the Stern Student Center and breakout sessions will be held in Maybank Hall.

Tickets are $10. Online registration is available here.
