The 2014 CAA Volleyball Championship gets underway on November 21, 2014 at the College of Charleston’s F. Mitchell Johnson Center in Charleston, S.C. Six teams, including the College, will compete for the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship.

Quarterfinal play kicks off on Nov. 21  as #5 Delaware squares off against #4 UNCW at 4:00 p.m., followed by #6 James Madison versus #3 Towson at 7:00 p.m.

The top-seeded College of Charleston team will take on the winner of the Delaware/UNCW match at 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 22. The CAA title match takes place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23 and will be broadcast live on the American Sports Network.

Defending champion College of Charleston is no stranger to postseason success, having notched 14 consecutive conference regular season or tournament championships (dating back to the Cougars’ time in the SoCon). Indicative of their talent, CofC had seven student-athletes honored with all-conference status on Wednesday, including senior leaders Sloane White and Cara Howley – who have each have totaled over 300 kills this season.
