We’re Boundless

  • Boundless: The Campaign for the College of Charleston launched on November 1, 2014.
  • Our professors are boundless – Olivia Thompson’s Farm-to-School initiative is going statewide, Julie Swanson earned $500,000 to help teachers grow gifted and talented students, and Jim Bowring snagged NSF funding to look into big data.
  • Computer science major Will Jamieson continues his success with mobile apps – he secured $10M in venture capital.
  • Internationally-known street artist Shepard Fairey took part in the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art’s 30th anniversary. Watch a video of him installing art throughout Charleston.

In the Lead

  • Three College of Charleston athletic teams won conference championships during their inaugural year in the Colonial Athletic Association. Both golf teams and baseball played in the NCAA tournament. The new offshore sailing team won the prestigious Kennedy Cup.
