Documenting all eras of South Carolina history, including Charleston’s African American history, the exhibit includes a very rare “Free” badge from the City of Charleston, several Gershwin materials, a volume of Audubon’s Birds of America, as well as the letters of George Washington.

The exhibit will be located in the display cases outside Special Collections in the Addlestone Library (205 Calhoun Street) on Monday, March 2, 2015, through the end of the semester.
