The College of Charleston coed sailing team won its eighth-consecutive SAISA Fall Coed Dinghy Championship title with an 18-point margin of victory over runner-up Eckerd College.

C of C Sailors take SAISA Fall Coed Title

The Cougars combined for the lowest scores in the 12-team, two-division conference championship regatta behind senior skipper Dodge Rees and senior crew Seppie McAdams, who won A-Division over Eckerd College by a score of 24 points with seven first-place finishes in 12 races.

In B-Division, senior skipper Ryan Davidson and junior crew Emily Stuart were also victorious with seven first-place finishes in 12 races over South Florida, which placed third overall as a team with 80 points.

The Cougars will next compete at the Kennedy Offshore Cup hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy on Nov. 6-8 in Annapolis, Md., and the ICSA Singlehanded Nationals hosted by Old Dominion on Nov. 7-8 in Norfolk, Va.
