A College of Charleston computer science team placed first among 62 teams from 18 colleges and universities on Nov. 14, 2015.

The student programmers – Clay GardnerJohn Zeringue and Hank Stocker – and their coach, Sebastian van Delden, chair of the College’s computer science department, competed in the Southeast regional of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).

The team successfully answered nine of eleven questions during the 5-hour programming portion of the contest. Congrats, Cougars!
