The College of Charleston men’s basketball team will host Hofstra University in the home opener of Colonial Athletic Association conference play on Jan. 7, 2016. Here are six reasons you should be at the game:

1. The College is on fire at TD Arena this season.

So far, the Cougars are  5-1 at home, including the huge upset win over LSU.

2. You never know who might show up at a Cougar basketball game.

3. Deep down, you really want to try the arena’s new Cheesy Bacon Donut Burger.

4.  It’s a great opportunity to see freshman Jarrell Brantly take the floor.

Not only is he the current CAA Rookie of the Week, but he leads all freshmen in scoring (10.8 ppg) and rebounding (6.5 rpg) this season.

5. Though he might not play due to injury, Canyon Barry is still the master of the underhand free throw.

6. It’s one of the only times in your life you can hold a very large brick over your head, and no one will stare.
