An exclusive mentoring opportunity is available for rising seniors at the College of Charleston who are majoring in communication.
Beginning in the fall 2016 semester, 10 students will become Martin Scholars and enjoy a school year’s worth of networking events and mentoring relationships. Among other perks, Martin Scholars will be assigned a mentor from the Department of Communication Advisory Council and will be invited to join a spring break trip to Washington, D.C. and New York City, where they will visit newsrooms, government leaders and the offices of major corporations.
The mentoring program has been created by the Department of Communication’s executive in residence, Tom Martin, and his wife, Wanda.
The deadline to apply is March 25, 2016. For application guidelines, visit the Martin Scholars webpage.
