College of Charleston Panhellenic women attend the Southeastern Panhellenic Conference.

Nearly 30 College of Charleston Panhellenic women had leading roles in the Southeastern Panhellenic Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, that wrapped up in early April 2016. Among their activities and awards:

  • Previous CofC Panhellenic President and member of Delta Delta Delta Veronica Ingham served as one of the four 2016 Conference Coordinators.
  • CofC Alpha Delta Pi member Emily Torchiana spoke to conference members concerning her personal experience dealing with severe cyber-bullying in high school and her struggles with mental illness.
  • Panhellenic President Kaitlin Burt and Panhellenic Vice President of Standards Carly Phillips competed in the student case study competition and received 2nd place overall.
  • Kappa Delta women Eliza Williams and Laura Edwards completed the Emerging Leaders course.
  • College of Charleston Panhellenic received an award for Excellence in Women’s Issues.
  • Panhellenic President Burt was chosen as one of the 2017 Conference Coordinators.
