Robert (Bob) W. Kahle has been named the assistant director and the director of research and planning at the Joseph P. Riley Jr. Center for Livable Communities at the College of Charleston.

Kahle will design, implement and supervise research for community-based, non-profit and local government organizations. He will also work with faculty and community leaders to enhance their qualitative research skills.

“Bob brings deep and broad research and facilitation experience to the Center,” says Riley Center Director Kendra Stewart. “His experience working with philanthropic foundations, non-profits and private sector companies will be of immediate benefit to the Riley Center and our key constituents.”

Kahle has operated his own research and planning consultancy, Kahle Research Solutions, for the past 22 years.
