The Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Jan. 21, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. in the McAlister Hospitality Suite located on the third floor of TD Arena. For ticket information, contact Terri Mattie at mattietl@cofc.edu or 843.953.8254.

CHAD CARITHERS (1991-94)

The most decorated College of Charleston men’s soccer player in program history, Carithers still ranks first all-time in career goals and career points.

A two-time first team all-conference selection, he ranked No. 2 nationally in scoring with 20 goals and 14 assists while leading the Cougars to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament in 1994.

Carithers still holds the College’s single-season records for points, goals and assists.

JEDD McLUEN (1998-01)

McLuen is one of only two College of Charleston men’s golfers in program history to receive a PING All-America Honorable Mention. During his time at the College, he was a two-time All-Southern Conference First Team honoree.

McLuen still holds many College records, including career scoring averages, career starts and career rounds played.

LEE HIGDON (2001-06)

Former President Lee Higdon led the College of Charleston from July 2001 to June 2006. He was a dedicated supporter of College of Charleston Athletics and is credited with doubling the athletics budget.

Higdon was also instrumental in the building of Carolina First Arena (now TD Arena) and the College of Charleston Tennis Center. Facility upgrades and enhancements of the baseball and softball stadiums at Patriots Point were also initiated under his direction.
