Get out those cameras and cold-weather coats because Cistern Yard has been transformed into a winter wonderland, and the greater Charleston community is invited to enjoy Cougar Night Lights.

The musical light show in the Cistern Yard opens to the public Dec. 14, 2017, through Jan. 1, 2018. The presentation runs on the hour between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. A special focus will be on historic Randolph Hall and the majestic Cistern Yard trees.

The show was produced and designed by CofC alumnus John Reynolds ’97, who has won multiple Emmys for his lighting displays and has done work for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Super Bowl.

This event is free and open to all, so join us on the College of Charleston campus to ring in the holidays. Cistern Yard is located at the corner of George and St. Philip streets. In the meantime, enjoy these photos from the special student-only viewing that took place on Dec. 4, 2017.
