The College of Charleston Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is partnering with other local organizations including the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association and the Charleston Area Hospitality Association to host the second annual Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair on  Feb. 27, 2018.

College of Charleston students and alumni are invited to explore the wide range of employment opportunities available in the hospitality industry. The Fair will be held in TD Arena from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature over 75 employers hiring for part-time and full-time positions, contract or seasonal employment, management-in-training and supervisory positions, as well as internships and volunteer work.

“The opportunity fair is about connecting our industry partners with our community,” says Wayne W. Smith, chair and associate professor of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management. “It provides our students an opportunity to develop careers that are fulfilling and our industry partners with team members that are of the highest quality. It is a win-win.”

The Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair is free to attend and open to the public with complimentary shuttle buses running to TD Arena from the Trident Technical College Main Campus and Palmer Campus, The College of Charleston North Campus and the Art Institute of Charleston.
