The Office of Mail Services is adjusting services in response to industry changes and customers’ needs. The volume of letter mail continues to decline as more people send communications electronically, while package volume is on the upswing. To better serve all customers, Mail Services is doing the following:

1.      Partnering with Amazon to install Amazon lockers at two on-campus locations for the CofC community. These lockers will be installed the week of December 17 and information will be shared with campus on how to utilize them.

2.      Remodeling the Mail Services lobby to install 200 parcel lockers for residential students’ use 24/7. This will also provide a waiting area for Passport Services. 

3.      Reducing the number of daily administrative mail runs (pick-ups/drop offs) from two to one effective Jan. 2, 2019. If your office is closed or you are expecting something urgent in the afternoon, you can always come to Mail Services to retrieve it or call the office to schedule a special stop.
