The College of Charleston is offering a record number of study abroad trips for summer 2010. A study abroad fair will be held on Monday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Physician’s Promenade (near the corner of Glebe and George Streets). The staff of the Center for International Education and representatives from other global organizations and universities will be available to provide information as needed.
The College will host 25 programs for the summer of 2010 including five new destinations: Brazil, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands. New programs this year include an intensive writing program to Spoleto, Italy, an Art History course to London and Paris, a business program to Valencia, Spain and a geology program to India. There will be four programs offered in Italy in addition to the popular favorites including Greece, Morocco, Panama, Peru, Spain, Russia, Germany, France, Austria, Turkey and Western Europe.
Students participating in any of the College of Charleston programs are eligible to apply for a study abroad scholarship of up to $1,500.
