Three South Carolina tourism experts earned the Journal of Travel Research‘s 2009 Best Article Award.
College of Charleston assistant professors Bing Pan and Wayne Smith co-authored with University of South Carolina assistant professor Robert Li the paper about the effect of online information searches on image development.
The team will receive a Travel and Tourism Research Association award at the annual conference in San Antonio, Texas, next month.
