Before the fall semester is set in motion, incoming College of Charleston students have the opportunity to spend three days on Seabrook Island, South Carolina and partake in interactive activities and leadership initiatives.  This Cougar Excursion will be held at Camp St. Christopher from August 6-8.  The cost is $175 per student and the registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Registration forms must be received by July 23.

“The Cougar Excursion was the best way to start my college experience.  I made so many new friends and learned so much before I even moved into my dorm,” says student Kelsey Johanson.

Cougar Excursion provides students with the opportunity to develop the kind of leadership skills and strategies that will ensure a positive and productive first-year experience.  Upperclassman and administrators help students discover ways to become involved in campus activities and events.

“CE was so much fun and I met one of my best friends there!  That and who wouldn’t love to spend a few days on the beach?  This is the best decision to make before starting your freshman year,” says sophomore Natalie Byrom.
