More than 80 colleges from across the country will be represented at a college fair on September 30 and October 1 at the College of Charleston’s Carolina First Arena (301 Meeting Street). CACRAO South Carolina Educational Opportunity Program will be open to all families and students on Thursday, September 30 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Registration is not required. Find out more.
More than 1,500 students and families are expected for the event Thursday night. In addition to meeting representatives from universities, attendees will also be able to attend a 30-minute general financial aid information session. Parking will be available at the 34 St. Philip Street parking garage for $5. Attendees may also pick up a coupon at the event for $5 parking at the 81 St. Philip Street garage or the Wentworth Street garage.
On Friday, October 1, more than 1,200 students from 27 local high schools are invited to attend the college fair between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The students will spend one hour at the event (times have been assigned by schools). This session is not open to the public and a financial aid seminar will not be held.
