College of Charleston alumnus and founder of Entropy Ensemble, Andrew Walker is back in the classroom, this time working with students from across the  College of Charleston campus to produce a multimedia performance, “Between the Lines,” at the Sottile Theatre on Wednesday, November 3 and Friday, November 5, 2010 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $8 for students and $12 for general admission. Advanced tickets ($10) can be purchased online at www.entropyensemble.com.

“Between the Lines” is a multi-media production exploring the music of Radiohead that incorporates all programs within the College of Charleston’s School of the Arts including music, theatre, studio arts, dance, arts management and also computer science.  At the core of this multi-media production is the unique instrumental group “Entropy Ensemble,” which has been recently touring their Radiohead Project, an exploration of the British band’s music in a chamber-music/jam-session format with artist Duncan Sheik.

The performance will also feature special guest artist Christopher O’Riley and others. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Carolina Studios, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to provide our youth an opportunity to be in a self-contained, safe after-school and summer environment that promotes productive use of time through music technology and other media arts thereby enhancing creative, educational and career-focused initiatives. Also benefiting from the performance is the College of Charleston’s School of the Arts.
