Instead of sleeping in on their day off of school, nearly 200 College of Charleston students and staff headed out into the community to give others a helping hand in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“Dr. King was an activist, he didn’t believe in a lot of talking, as he said, paralysis through analysis, so we’re out getting things done, doing something,” said Cal Morrison, group advisor with the MLK Challenge.
