The College of Charleston will host an Open House for interested students and their families on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. High school juniors and their families will register and attend the opening session at the Carolina First Arena. High school seniors, transfer students, and their families will register at the Carolina First Arena, then attend an opening session at the Stern Student Center. More information.

Students and their families will have the opportunity to learn more about academic programs and hear from professors, learn about student services, take tours of campus and view residence halls.

“This is an opportunity for prospective students to mingle, meet potential roommates and talk with current students about life at the College of Charleston,” said Susan Oakes, associate director of admissions. “Students will make decisions after this event about whether to apply to the College and, for seniors who have been accepted, whether to attend.”

The College is also hosting an Honors Exploration Day and Multicultural Overnight Visit Experience (M.O.V.E.) on Friday, April 8, but both of those events are full. Get more information on the Honors College Exploration Days or more information on M.O.V.E.
