The School of Education, Health and Human Performance at the College of Charleston received the grant from the U.S. Department of Education, according to a news release from the college.

The grant looks to improve science, technology, engineering and mathematics instruction. It will pay for 60 teachers from Berkeley and Georgetown counties and Dorchester County school districts 2 and 4 to take graduate classes at the College of Charleston.
