The Princeton Review has once again named the College of Charleston as one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education.
College of Charleston appears in the new 2012 edition of Princeton Review’s “The Best 376 Colleges”. Only about 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges are profiled in the book.
This is the eighth year in a row the College has been honored by Princeton Review.
In the profile of the College of Charleston, The Princeton Review praises the school for its academics and its campus and quotes extensively from students surveyed for the book.
Commenting on their campus experiences, one student claimed that The College of Charleston provides “huge university opportunities with a small college, personalized atmosphere.” Another student said the College of Charleston “exemplifies ‘progressive traditionalism’” and “is all about liberal arts; the education is well-rounded and intriguing.”
The rankings are based on collected data in eight categories including admissions selectivity, quality of life, financial aid and environmental policies and practices.
