September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month.

The College of Charleston is offering various programs throughout the month sponsored by the Office of Public Safety, Office of Victim Services, Office of Counseling and Substance Abuse, Office of Residence Life and Housing and Office of Greek Life.

Events such as Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) demonstrations, breakfast with Public Safety and various other presentations are geared to promote awareness and highlight crime reduction resources for the entire community.

Public Safety will kick off National Campus Safety Awareness Month with a September 6 street party on George Street. The event will be held from 4p.m. until 6p.m.

The annual NV DAY, No Violence-No Victim, will be on September 21, 2011.
