What do mini massages, puppies and kinball have in common? They are all great stress relievers during final exams, which start on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. The College of Charleston’s Cougar Countdown, a mix of academic support, physical support, emotional support and fun activities for students, is already underway. Watch a video.
On Friday, December 9, students can enjoy pancakes with President George Benson and members of the executive team. Stop by Rivers Green between 8 and 11 a.m. to get free pancakes and see if they can make them in the shape of a cougar.
Also, on December 9, students can alleviate stress by playing with puppies. Pet Helpers will have dogs and puppies on Rivers Green from 12 to 3 p.m.
Other activities include mini massages, meditation class, study breaks with free food, zumba, yoga, kinball and more. View full list of activities.
Extended study hours through December 13 include Addlestone Library (open 24 hours) and Stern Center (open until midnight Monday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. on Friday through Sunday). Cougar Shuttle is also available if students are studying late and need a ride (888.960.2227).
