The College of Charleston’s MBA Class of 2012 will participate in a completion ceremony on August 18, 2012 at 4 p.m. in Alumni Hall in Randolph Hall. Thirty students will celebrate their graduation from the one-year global program with a keynote address by Litton Entertainment CEO and recent Emmy Award winner Dave “Buddy” Morgan.
Students in the Class of 2012 came from very diverse backgrounds from entrepreneurs to recent college graduates. Some of their undergraduate universities include: Northwestern University, New York University, Emory University, College of Charleston, Clemson University, Xiamen University (China), Pace University, Charleston School of Law, and Wofford College.
A number of the MBA graduates from this year’s graduating class are heading into new financial and operations roles at Dixon Hughes, Baker Motor Company, Carolina Capital Management, Gildan, and the City of Charleston.
The College of Charleston MBA is a one-year, fulltime global MBA program that is accredited iby AACSB International. Our accelerated MBA is the first of its kind in South Carolina, and part of the fast growing MBA trend around the world. The globally focused, applied learning and accelerated program requires students to study abroad as a group with three focus areas to choose from including finance, marketing, and the new hospitality revenue management.
The MBA Class of 2013 has already completed its bootcamp (an introduction to business topics) and will begin classes August 20, 2012.
Applications for the MBA Class of 2014 will be available in mid-October at mba.cofc.edu.
