Former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Jerry Jordan will speak at the College of Charleston on February 26, 2013. The speech will be held in the Wells Fargo Auditorium in the School of Business (5 Liberty St.)
Jordan was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland from March 1992 until January 31, 2003. Before joining the Bank, he was a senior vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
His commercial banking experience includes five years at Pittsburgh National Bank and seven years at First Interstate Bancorp in Los Angeles. He was a member of President Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisors in 1981-82.
After his presentation, Jordan will take questions from the audience.
