The College of Charleston REACH (Realizing Educational and Career Hopes) Program will hold the 4th Annual Scholarship Gala on September 27, 2013.  The gala will be held in the Daniel Island Club starting at 6 p.m.

The Gala is held every year to raise scholarship money for REACH students, many who receive little outside financial aid.  This year, the program hopes to raise more than $150,000 to help the nearly 30 students currently in the program.

The REACH Program at the College of Charleston is a four-year, fully inclusive certificate program for students with mild intellectual disabilities. The program provides students with a complete college experience allowing them to explore and realize both their intellectual and personal potential.

The REACH Program promotes four pillars of success—academics, increased social skills, development of independent living skills, and career development.

The Gala will feature both a silent and a live auction with items ranging from golf at the acclaimed TPC Sawgrass course to tickets to Disney World along with gift certificates to local restaurants and retail stores.

Tickets for the Gala are $100 per person.  Corporate tables are also available.
