The College of Charleston will hold a panel discussion designed to explain the circumstances surrounding the recent political crisis in the Ukraine.
“Ukraine’s Protests: Authoritarianism and the Spirit of Resistance” will be held on March 12, 2014, in Room 315 of the Tate Center. The discussion will begin at 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The panel discussion will feature four College of Charleston professors focusing on the Ukrainian- Russian relationship and the recent tensions between the two countries.
Panel members include:
- History Professor Irina Gigova
- Political Science Professor Max Kovalov
- Political Science professor Mark Long
- Communication Professor Ryan Milner
The panel will be moderated by Political Science professor Gibbs Knotts.
