Harbor Walk East (the building closest to the Cooper River) will house the Department of Computer Science and a biology lab. Harbor Walk West (the former Hippodrome/IMAX theater) will house biology and physics classrooms and labs, faculty offices, and faculty research labs.

Courses at Harbor Walk will begin at a 30-minute delayed interval from the main campus schedule. This delay is to ensure faculty and students have enough time to travel from the main campus to Harbor Walk.

Harbor Walk will be much like any other building on campus – WiFi will be available there will be a P.O.D. market – an on-the-go dining option that provides beverages and prepared meals ranging from salads and wraps to crackers and candy.

The College leased 41,000 square feet of space at Harbor Walk to support the classrooms, labs, and faculty offices displaced during the Rita Hollings Science Center and Physician’s Auditorium Renovation.
