Over 30 students will present their research projects as part of the fourth annual College of Charleston William V. Moore Student Research Conference on April 4, 2014.
The conference is an opportunity for advanced high school and undergraduate students to present research on a variety of topics, including Southern and South Carolina politics, civil rights, political extremism, educational opportunity and economic development, political communication, human geographies and world politics.
The seven student panels will be held in the Stern Student Center between 10:00 am and 12:45 pm.
The conference is held in honor of William V. Moore and reflects Professor Moore’s passionate commitment to undergraduate education and improving political discourse and educational and economic opportunities for all South Carolinians.
Chris Jankowski, a College of Charleston alumnus and Republican strategist will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon. Jankowski recently served as the President of the Republican State Leadership Committee in Washington, D.C.
