The College of Charleston men’s and women’s golf teams made quite an impression in their inaugural year of competition in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Both teams are headed to the NCAA Regionals after winning conference championships this month. The women last qualified for the NCAA tournament with an at-large bid in 2010. The men’s team made its last appearance in the NCAAs with an at-large bid in 2003.
The women will compete in the NCAA East Regional May 8-10, 2014, at the SouthWood Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla.
The men will compete in the NCAA Southwest Regional May 15-17 at the Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio, Tx.
