The College of Charleston will offer a two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training(ASIST) class starting September 22, 2014.
The class is free and open to the public.

This intensive ASIST training course is recommended for people who have one-on-one interaction with students like residence life, academic advising, public safety, EMS, educators and tutors. It would be helpful for people who are pursuing careers with high-risk populations like counselors, doctors, and educators.

As a recipient of a campus suicide prevention grant in 2013, College of Charleston is committed to promoting positive mental health in our community with a message of hope.
