College of Charleston volleyball head coach Jason Kepner inducted six former student-athletes to the program’s Wall of Fame on Saturday night at the annual Alumni Banquet held in the McAlister Hospitality Suite on the third floor of TD Arena.
With current and former student-athletes, coaches and parents in attendance on a beautiful Lowcountry evening, Alisa Long (2000-03), Sara Davis (2001-04), Cole Dawley (2007-10), Sarah Havel (2008-11), Elyse Chubb (2008-11) and Darcy Dorton (2012-13) were all formally introduced in to the 25-person Wall of Fame that adorns the outer wall of the volleyball locker room.
“I am proud and honored to be a part of a program that has had so many great players throughout the years,” Kepner said. “CofC volleyball has such a great history; it is important for the current team to always remember all the hard work that went into building this program. This is our second class to be inducted onto our Wall of Fame and all six players deserve this honor. If you are a fan of the College of Charleston, you will remember cheering for all these players and know the impact they had during their years in Charleston.”
