One of the early econobloggers who forecast the housing market collapse and stock market correction years in advance will be speaking at the College of Charleston School of Business (5 Liberty St.) on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Chris Martenson, Ph.D., MBA is an economic researcher and futurist specializing in energy and resource depletion and co-founder of PeakProsperity.com. He will discuss causes for America’s gradual decline and what Americans should consider when shaping the future of our resilient country in his presentation, “Red, White, and Screwed.”
Martenson rose to prominence with the launch of his seminal video seminar: The Crash Course which has also been published in book form. In addition to the analysis and commentary he writes for his site PeakProsperity.com, Martenson’s insights are in high demand by the media as well as academic, civic and private organizations around the world, including institutions such as the UN, the UK House of Commons and US State Legislatures.
