The College offers a variety of resources, services and activities to help students survive and thrive during Exam Week – Dec. 3 through Dec. 10:
Tutoring and Study Space
The Center for Student Learning (CSL) located in Addlestone Library will offer Extended Tutoring Hours in the following subjects:
- Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m.: Math, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Writing, Accounting
- Wednesday, Dec. 3, 6-8 p.m.: Math, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Writing
- Thursday, Dec. 4, 6-8 p.m.: Math, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Writing, Accounting
In addition, CSL will provide open study space at the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, Dec. 2 through Thursday, Dec. 4 : 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 5 , & Monday, Dec. 8 through Wednesday, Dec. 10: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Melissa Thomas, director of the CSL, says students can make the most of the tutoring time by coming prepared with books and notes and having already tried solving problems independently.

Fun and Stress-Relief

Safety
If you’re studying late and need to travel on and around campus after hours, be smart. Cougar Shuttle provides complimentary rides to students on the downtown peninsula. The shuttle operates seven nights a week from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. To schedule a pick-up, call 888.960.2227 and be prepared to present your Cougar Card.
The Department of Public Safety advises students to use the buddy system, especially after dark. But if you can’t use the buddy system while you’re on campus, you can call public safety 24/7 to request a security escort to or from a class, residence hall or College-owned parking lot/facility, call 843.953.5609.
