The College of Charleston baseball team, fresh off its 2014 Super Regional appearance, has announced a 15-member signing class for the 2015 class.
After a record-setting 2014 campaign which finished with the Cougars ranked as high as No. 16 in the nation according to Collegiate Baseball, head coach Monte Lee and his staff bring in a talented class which will look to make an immediate impact and build upon the program’s already-rich success.
“We are really excited about this class,” said Lee. “We’ve got a really good mix of position players and pitchers who we feel like will fill the needs of next year’s team and the program moving forward. We have some athleticism, some power, some speed, and we have addressed some of our needs on the pitching end. We feel like this class has players with high-level mental make-up and toughness, which is what we look for in a College of Charleston baseball player.
