The College of Charleston, which captured the CAA Baseball Championship and advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals in its first season as a league member, was a unanimous choice to repeat as champion in 2015 according to a vote of the league’s head baseball coaches.
The league’s coaches also voted on a 2015 Preseason All-CAA Baseball Team and the College’s Carl Wise and Bailey Ober were included, while Blake Butler, Morgan Phillips, and Taylor Clarke received Honorable Mention nods.
“We are grateful to see our players and team recognized by our peers in the preseason selections,” said head coach Monte Lee, entering his seventh season at the helm. “We are very excited to get started.”
