The South Carolina General Assembly has elected Randy Lowell as a new member of the College of Charleston Board of Trustees.
Lowell is a shareholder with the law firm of Willoughby & Hoefer, P.A. He received a B.A. degree from the College of Charleston in 1995, M.P.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina, an M.A. degree from American Military University, and an LL.M. degree from The George Washington University.
He has served as an adjunct professor and authored several books and articles.
In addition to the College’s board, he currently serves on the boards of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and The Humanities Council and previously served on the board of Palmetto Richland Hospital. Randy and his wife, Courtney, reside in Blythewood.
